So how did we get to here from there? By Accident… what started out as leftovers ended in a conversation on how we could incorporate a Texas twist of a popular Cajun favorite. Taking our Family’s Charro Bean recipe and incorporating specially prepared proteins and in Texas, you gotta have jalapeno heat, we finally developed what we think is a pretty remarkable product. We set out to have our brand available to the masses – joined a contest and didn’t win… then the call came from HEB while at our mid-week church service – they still wanted our product on their shelves!!
